Well, I finally found a computer with internet access. It's much harder than it seems, believe me. :( lol
So on our way up here (here being Elk Point, South Dakota) we stopped in Champaigne, Illinois to visit with Aunt Marcia K and Uncle David (my uncle is the VP of the Univ. of IL). Their kids are grown up and gone. ^_^
The next day we finished the drive to Elk Point and to Uncle Brian, Aunt Terri, and cousins Amanda, Anna, and Corey. The farm was where all my aunts and uncles on the Chicoine side (my mom's side) grew up, where Grandpa and Grandma Chicoine originally lived.
After a week in Elk Point, we went to visit Aunt Nici, Uncle Joe (Mojo :D) and Evelyn and Jeanette in White, SD. Stayed there for a couple days, and we went to see Oklahoma the musical at SDSU.
Now we're back in Elk Point, and we're leaving tomorrow for Uncle Tim's and Aunt Shannon's farm in St. Mary's, Iowa. (more or less) They have Trevor, Kaley, and Naomi. That's where we always go horseback riding out in the bogs.
After that, I think we're stopping in at Aunt Maria and Uncle David's again, and then to my other Granny's house (on the Little side) in Tennesse.
Home in time right for band camp. fuun
I'm excited because I might get to take home a milk can from the old quansit (machine shed thingy). lol
I gotta go now 'cause we're about to go out to the sweet corn field to pick some for dinner. (yummy!!) (four-wheeling is the BEST hahah...and now there's enough for me, Amanda, AND Matt -- a hired hand guy -- fun fun fun!)
