Today was the grave decoration at Haw Orchard...which is REALLY over the mountain and through it and around it...it takes like 4 hours to get there. We saw all the old great aunts and uncles and did grave rubbings and threw flowers. It was all very happy and sweet and fluffy. :D
And there's this other old cemetary where all my great (like 8 greats) grandparents are buried, and only Granny and Aunt Jewel know where it is. So we went looking for that -- didn't find it, but we did find the house my great Uncle Buck grew up in and the kids had fun exploring that.
Another drive down the mountain that had mom and Granny worried sick and we went to Shatley Springs, NC for lunch and then back home.
Tomorrow we leave to go home. :( So sad...
